Up for sale is a first edition, first printing copy of "Roots" by Alex Haley with its original dust jacket.
There is wear to the edges of the dust jacket. The jacket also shows mild scuffing and a large tear near the bottom front corner. The publisher's price is present on the front flap. There is minor wear to the edges of the cover boards. A gift inscription is written on the ffep.

Due to USPS insurance claim procedures, partial refunds are not allowed to the shipping damage. Items damaged in shipping must be returned in the original packaging as received. The USPS requires inspection of the packaging and item damaged.
