This is the eleventh installation of the influential "The Faith Promoting Series" by Elder George Reynolds. This book was written with the youth in mind, designed to explain some of the myths and truths of the writing and translation of The Book of Mormon by Joseph Smith. It clarifies the truth and authenticity of the Book and some of the evidences supporting the claim. It dispels some of the arguments that the Book of Mormon was plagiarized from a book called the Spaulding Manuscript. This is an excellent study tool not only for collectors of vintage books but for anyone who has questions or doubts about the origin of the Book of Mormon. For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or anyone who wants to know more, this is a great collection of documents that clarifies some of the misinformation about the Church that may cause some to doubt their testimony. This is sure to help us understand that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God and that it was not copied from another book or written by him. This book is a rare find!
