You are bidding on The Life and Public Services of John Quincy Adams written by William Seward. Published in 1849 by Derby, MIller & Company (Auburn), this 404 page hardcover book is a eulogy to the former US President. It is in decent condition for its age but the spine is damaged (as seen in photos) with parts coming apart. There is a little foxing in places on the inside, but mostly near the front and back. Altogether a terrific book.
I use... the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I'm also open to local pick-up in Fairhaven MA.
