Vintage HAND CARVED MEERSCHAUM PIP...E GOAT AND LEAVES Amber Stem Fitted Case ITEM DETAILS AND FLUMMERY:
I don't know a great deal about pipes in general, so please feel free to ask any questions I may be able to answer about details I do not know may be important...
Meerschaum pipe, bowl hand carved into the shape of a goat and some foliage. Stem is amber or amberoid, a push style.Comes with a fitted case lined in velvet.
CONDITION: Has been smoked and I have NOT cleaned it. There are no cracks, chips, dings or other damage to bowl or mouthpiece, and the pieces fit together smoothly.
SIZING AND MEASUREMENTS: Bowl is about 2.25" tall from top to bottom, pipe overall about 6.5" measured from mouth to outside of bowl, following the curve of the stem. TEDIOUS BUT IMPORTANT GENERAL BLA BLA BLA: While our home is non-smoking, we do have a dog, and the chance that there may be a hair or two is more than 50%.
I do my best to describe any scents, odors or potential allergens, but most of my items are pre-owned: this may pose a problem for the exquisitely sensitive or very allergic...please keep this in mind before bidding or buying. Pre-owned clothing is washed or cleaned but alas, I do not iron, press or steam...some wrinkle removal may be necessary on receipt.
