This is a vintage first edition copy of The Little Engine That Could published in 1930 by The Platt & Munk Co. Inc. The title page reads "Retold by Watty Piper from The Pony Engine by Mabel C. Bragg, Copyrighted by George H. Doran & Co. Pictures by Lois L. Lenski."
This book is nearly 100 years old and is in poor to fair used condition with wear and tear throughout from its previous owners. It has one significant tear on one page, several creases and bends on other pag...es, and some wear and tear to the cover and spine. There is some writing of previous owners' names on the inside front and back covers. All pages are present and the color illustrations are very vibrant.
