Internally the book looks pretty good with tight bindings and no loose, missing or damage pages. The top edges of the pages are dyed red and the base edge / text block pages are uncut. The end papers and pages within look great, as do the remarkably vivid plates by Gibbings. The illustrative content is varied depicting characters, landscapes, buildings, Ships , Maps and Wildlife.A rare early title by Robert Gibbings, even more so with a dust jacket.
