We are pleased to present an antique, circa 1910, porcelain bread plate from the private yacht Sachem, owned by Thurber, crossed with the burgee of the NYYC. Measures 6" in diameter. Manufactured by Schwarzburg in Germany, imported by Nathan Straus in NY. This plate is "chippy, " There's a small 3mm flake off rim on back; there are two 1.5" fine hairlines at 12 and 5 o'clock position which are visible on front and back. Please see pics.Frederick B.
