Pages from a disbound antique photo album belonging to Colonel Bruce Brine, Royal Engineers, who served in Malta in the early to mid 1860s and documenting colleagues in the military as well as family. Some are dated 1870s but even these seem to have some connection with his service abroad.
Almost all of the images are albumen cdv size photographs pasted directly onto the album pages which have buckled slightly. Most of the images are still sharp but please look a...t the photos and virtually all are named.
