DVD containing 46 High resolution scans ( 1200 dpi ) produced from an original WW1 photo album which belonged to a German U-boat officer .This is a rare album . Sadly , many of the photos within the album are badly faded with age ...some have completely disappeared . Of the 46 scans on the disc , a fair number are also faded . I have tried to enhance them as best I can .On the positive side , there are still a good number of very interesting images .Photos include... ..formal and informal photos of U-boat officers and crew .One good photo shows a mine being lowered into a mine laying U-boat .An interesting photo shows a torpedo being fired from U-boat with officer looking from above .Photo of a torpedo being loaded into U-boat .photo showing U-boat torpedo in tube . several good photos of conning tower and men ..photos taken from front and rear . A nice quality photo shows a captured Dolphin on deck .One photo shows the frozen deck of a U-boat .4 photos show 2 different sailing ships ...each ship is shown on surface and then sinking after being attacked .Unfortunately , there are no captions in the album ..if anyone is able to tell me more about the photos I would love to learn more .A gentle reminder , the quality of some of the images is not great ...however , I feel confident these rare images will appeal to a genuine WW1 U-boat enthusiast
