Vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer Automatic Day Date Watch
This is a lovely all original example of the Omega Constellation Chronometer with quick set date date. The gold plated case is in stunning condition and the gold tone dial is still fabulous. It has the original Omega signed crown. The plexi-glas is also like new. It is powered by an automatic winding Omega signed movement and it is working very well.
DialThe gold dial is untouched and in beautiful condition. It has ...slim polished gold batten hour markers and gold Omega logo with gold edged day and date windows.
Hands The slender gold tone hour and minute hands are in stunning condition as is the matching second hand. The hands have the original aged lume. CaseThe gold plated case has an ornate bezel. It is in great condition and looks larger on the wrist than the 34mm diameter. It has not been polished and still retains its sharp edges. It is in very good condition for its age but does have very minor tarnishing, marks and knocks from wear over the years. Case BackThe signed original screw fit case back is stunning with the logo in gold on the back. It is stamped Omega as shown in the photos. Crown The watch has the original signed Omega signed that changes the time and date smoothly. The date quick sets. MovementThe watch case houses the original Omega signed automatic winding movement with quick set date. It is currently working well and keeping good time. As with all vintage watches it would benefit from regular servicing to maintain accurate time keeping and functionality. CrystalThe watch has a new plexi-glas crystal. It is in excellent condition with no scratches or marks. BandThe watch is hung on a new 20mm brown ostrich style leather band with a gold coloured buckle.BoxComes with both original red inner and outer boxes. Please note this is a vintage watch and is in original condition. As with all period pieces it would benefit from a service and regular servicing to keep it running smoothly.
