PRICE REDUCED!What a GORGEOUS watch. Super clean Omega Constellation Chronometer Quartz mens watch in two tone. Looks like a Rolex Osyterquartz. Steel with gold filled fluted bezel and two tone band. Serial number in 40 million range date production to circa 1977-1978. Date code on bracelet 10-79. Perfect crystal. Perfect dial. Wonderful bracelet. Really clean watch. The incredibly clean movement is cal. 1345 with a fresh Rena...ta battery installed. Working perfectly. The setting on this caliber is a bit unique. Pull the crown out set the hour hand in quickset mode, the hour jumps in 1 hour increments quickly as you turn the bezel. You can go through 24 hours in a couple seconds, and the day and date advance one unit for every 24 hour cycle of the hour hand. With the crown in normal position, you insert a pin to depress the button inside the crown to set the exact time of the seconds and minute hands. Depress that crown button for about 10 second, then let it go and press it again really quickly, and the seconds hand starts zipping around to advance the minutes as well. Basically you pull out the crown to set the hour hand, then use the button inside the crown to set the minute and seconds hands to the precise time. There is also another small button on the side that is pin set for quick set of the date. The watch measures about 34.5 mm wide without the crown, 36 mm with the crown. And it fits a 7 1/2" wrist. The day changes over before midnight, and the date changes over a couple hours after midnight, but I believe this is pretty much how it's supposed to be (I don't think that both can change at the same time on this caliber). The only notable blemishes are that there are scratches on the back, particularly where you pry the back open. This caseback is difficult to get off, and clearly someone had difficulty in the past also. And there is one light dent on the bracelet clasp, which I tried to show in photos, but it's so light that it's hard to photo.
