1944 Original Photo by ACME PHOTOGRAPHER ANDREW LOPEZ. American ordnance soldiers can well afford to be pleased as they look over this piece of heavy German Army Artillery Gun at a collecting depot in Normandy, France during World War 2. Captured by our forces during their driving offensive on the Cherbourg Peninsula, the gun appears to be in almost perfect condition and cam be put into use by the Allies with very little reconditioning.
