This radio has two completely separate and independent bands - one for 2 meter and one for 220 MHz. Includes an external mike which can be switched for use with each band. The radio features a standard push-to-talk button, a function key to enable the programing, and configuration functions of the front mounted keys. It has a contoured rubber covering over the switch and the entire side of the radio is ergonomically molded for a good grip. At the bottom, there is a release for the battery pack. Includes paging function, dual watch, tone squelch, cross band repeater operation. This radio was seldom used as the owner didn’t get involved with ham radio activities.
