A great Antique 19th C. Stoneware Redware John Bell Waynesboro Pennsylvania Small Jar or Crock. Excellent Condition a couple very small surface flakes to the top outer rim, no other chips, cracks, or repairs, slight manufactured roughness to the glaze, slight surface wear in areas. Measuring 7 1/2" tall x 6 1/4" at the top rim x 4" at the b...ase and weighing 3lb 2oz the top below the rim is marked John Bell Waynesboro. Wonderful small hand tooled form with great redware matte brown glaze to bisque on the outside, glossy salt glaze on the inside.
