We are listing today a lovely Antique mid 19th C Pennsylvania Redware Slip Decorated Dish or Plate. This dish is in Excellent Condition with 1 old surface chip at the edge, there is a 100% secure & sound line that extends inward from this about 4", looks like a craze line, you can just feel it with your fingernail by the edge, it goes below the glaze as it moves toward the center, refer to the last 2 pictures, no other chips, cracks, or repairs. There is crazing ...and an area of lead glaze miss at the one edge, happened in the making. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition, very clean, the plate appears to have never been used. The dish measures 9 3/4" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" at the slightly rounded base and weighs approximately 1lb 10.oz Great form with hand notched outer perimeter and great hand decorated yellow slip lines with a great glossy lead glaze.
