Up for sale is a fantastic blue Porcelain and Brass hand painted Sevres style Potpourri Urn, missing it's lid.
Featuring a scene with a man and woman sitting together on the front and a scene with a home next to a river on the opposite side with a lovely gold design around the border. The brass gilt has a nice ornate design around the rim and base and the handles feature a gorgeous woman's face, possibly a goddess.
There is wear to the gold paint on the front and on the gilt. The...re is wear and minor corrosion on the brass and typical base wear. There are no cracks or chips. It is missing it's lid. It still displays beautifully.
Measurements are approximately:8 3/8" Tall (Measured to handle)4 1/4" Diameter.7" From handle to handle.3 1/2" Wide base.
