Lovely antique Sevres style lidded, double handled urn/vase, depicts soft pastel yellow background color with satin finish on white hard paste porcelain. Raised gilt decorations, filigree and accents on rims and the main body, the center image depicts a courting couple in the landscape setting - transfer based decoration. Brass handles, the lid top and the base. Brass is in good condition with occasional spots of some wear/patina. Top brass part that secures the handles around the neck... was likely re-glued (see the last three images for more details). There is a hairline on the back of the lid, not noticeable when facing the piece from the front. Some wear to decorations, gilt and yellow background finish. This lovely piece still shows very beautifully. Sold in AS IS condition.Unmarked - but undoubtedly European made most likely early part of 20th century.Measures 19.5” tall with the lid on.
