Offered for sale is a beautiful Warren A. May Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer made in Berea, Kentucky. Absolutely gorgeous high quality handmade made instrument. Incredible craftsmanship! Purchased new as a collectible so was never really played much. It only has three strings on it so you’ll have to put new strings on it if you are going to play it. Measures 34 5/8” from end to end. Weighs 1 lb. 15 oz. on my postal scale. Handwritten on the ...inside it says copyright 10/87, signed Warren A. May, Berea, Ky 40403, #3986. A quilted fabric drawstring bag is included. Original cost of these items back in the late 1980’s was $300.00 for the dulcimer and $30.00 for the bag. Rare to find in such nice condition - you will love it!
