Rare Photogravue CDV of Union General John Sedgwick-Killed in Action at the Start of General Grant's Wilderness Campaign on May 9th, 1864. The General's Portrait is Near Pristine with Amazing Detailing & Eye Appeal. The General's Imagery is Surrounded by Beautiful Embossing. There is NO Foxing or Staining. The Borders are Straight and the Corners are Sharp. There is NO Gallery Backing. There is minor Age Soiling on the Reverse. This is most Likely a "Memorial" CDV given the fact th...at there is NO Back Mark & his Men Referred to him as "Uncle John".SHIPPING INCLUDES TRACKING & INSURANCE.
