An original Vietnam War letter including the cover written by Sergeant Goss. The letter is dated 1969. In one area he says, .........Last night our base had a little action. V.C. through some hand grenades at the main gate and a few hours later some aircraft were hit by rockets. The whole base was put on alert but nothing happened................... The cover has the send to address of Oakland Californ...ia. I currently have other letters listed that belonged to this person. The letter has wear and stain marks.
