An original Vietnam War letter including the cover written by Sergeant Goss. The letter is dated 1969. In one area he says, ......This month we were really expecting to get hit. But so far about 6 rockets have hit the flight line. This is where our aircraft is located............A Vietnamese man had a box with a bomb in it. The bomb went off and blew a hole in his leg big enough to drive your new car through. they don't know if he was going to... plant the bomb or if he just saw the....and picked it up............... The cover has the send to address of Oakland California. I currently have other letters listed that belonged to this person. The letter has wear and stain marks.
