YOU ARE BUYING THE BELL ONLY, THE HOMEMADE STAND STAYS WITH ME. This bell has a "hairline" crack along the top. It seems very very solid and i think the crack was maybe repaired at one time or is just seen on the top but is not bad at all. Its honesty very minor.You are viewing a nice vintage brass bell that measures approximately 12" in diameter and approximately 12" high from base to the top of the finial. Weighs 38 lbs. This specific bell was on a 1926-1928 LA FRANCE Fire truck. The... last picture shows the exact truck this bell was on and came off of. The bell was mounted on the cowl right in front of the drivers area in the middle. the bracket that the bell is presently mounted to may have been after windshilds were added or moved the bell to a different truck. This style of bell was also listed in a Seagraves Parts manual from 1925 that lists a 12" bell as a standard part.
