CAST IRON SKILLET # 10 with EARLY LOGO and OUTSIDE HEAT RING. Circa 1903 - 1910. This skillet is marked on the bottom: WAPAK GA (maker's mark) 10, nothing on the handle. This skillet has been cleaned and restored, ready to use after se...asoning. PLEASE NOTE: Skillets with heat rings are not recommended for use on glass cooktop stoves.CONDITION: This pan is in very good clean gently used condition with no cracks, no warping, no damage or repairs noted. After years of use, the heat ring has been worn down quite a bit in several places so this skillet wobbles when sitting on a hard glass surface. The movement can be corrected by placing two playing cards under the heat ring at each pour spout. The cooking surface is straight, not bowed, and is smooth to the touch, but it does have some very minor utensil scratches, a little bit of fine shallow pitting around the edge, and some casting flaws, all of which will fill in with seasoning and use. There are some casting flaws on the inside wall also at about 11:00. MEASUREMENTS: This skillet measures approximately 12 9/16" across pour spout to pour spout; 16 3/8" long from tip of handle to opposite rim; 2 3/8" high on the outside; cooking surface approx. 10" in diameter.
