CAST IRON SKILLET # 9 with EARLY LOGO and OUTSIDE HEAT RING. Circa 1903 - 1910. This skillet is marked on the bottom: WAPAK 9; nothing on the handle. Below the Wapak logo is a swath of smooth iron where they covered up the WAGNER logo at the... foundry, proof that they used an old Wagner mold. This skillet has been cleaned and restored, ready to use after seasoning. PLEASE NOTE: Skillets with heat rings are not recommended for use on glass cooktop stoves.CONDITION: This pan is in very good clean gently used condition with no pitting, no cracks, no warping, no damage or repairs noted. It sits flat on a hard glass surface with no wobble. The cooking surface is smooth to the touch, but it does have some very minor utensil scratches and a couple small casting flaws, all of which will fill in with seasoning and use. MEASUREMENTS: This skillet measures approximately 12" across pour spout to pour spout; 16 1/16" long from tip of handle to opposite rim; 2 5/16" high on the outside; cooking surface approx. 9 3/4" in diameter.
