Simply that it’s the best amplifier ever produced, due to its combination of two 12” speakers, ultra-quality reverb and tremolo, and just the right amount of power to go from clean to down ...& dirty breakup. The sound is crisp and clean when you need it. Sweet, round, and full. Yet turn it up to 3 or 4 and you start getting that raw crunch guitarists die for. Unlike other amps you don’t have to crank it so loud that your ears bleed to get that desirable blues/rock overdrive. It rewards you even at low to medium volume, which is remarkable. And up at 5 or 6 you unleash a fire-breathing rip-roaring sonic dragon.
The ‘66 Pro Reverb you see here is not only all original, from outside to inside, it’s also in spectacular near mint condition. The chrome still gleams, the grille cloth is unmarred pristine, and the black tolex looks like it left the 1966 Fender factory a week ago.
