An absolute steal at this price! Genuine original vintage M-69 cream pick-up rings, surrounds, 1958, 1959, 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard “burst” guitar, or PAF goldtop.
The real thing, with no b.s., no jive, guaranteed. A crazy-rare matching pair of genuine 1958, ‘59, or ‘60 vintage Les Paul Standard pick-up rings. One for the neck pick-up, one for the bridge pick-up.
How tough are these to find? The last pair I saw for sale went for over $10, 000. &nb...sp;A few years back a single ring, not a pair, was offered at 6k.
My guitar collector friend has owned this pair for 15 years. They were purchased from a well-known Les Paul expert in NY, who has had more original ‘bursts pass through his hands than anyone on earth.
I believe these came off a 1960 ‘burst, buy they are of course correct for any 1950s to 1960s P.A.F. pick-up Les Paul Standard or goldtop.
And check out the condition. Obviously, with them being almost 60 years old, looking super-close you’ll see some pick marks, micro-dings, etc. But overall, they are in excellent condition, with no breaks or cracks. And not chewed up like others you’ve seen.
I shot some of the pics with the flash on, and some with it off. This way you can see the true color under both daylight and home light. Plus check out the UV pics. You may rest assured that these absolutely are not repros, but the genuine real deal.
Best of all, because these were originally purchased so long ago, you get a great deal. If you are looking to get your original Les Paul or re-issue up to vintage specs, here’s your chance at a price that won’t bust your budget.
$5, 500 for the pair. You save $1, 400. Shipping via FedEx Overnight $75.
Important notice: No returns. These are exactly what I’ve said and described above, with no funny business. The pics are all accurate and high-res, including the blacklight photos. As my feedback tells you, I have an excellent history and reputation. I also pack extremely well, so they will arrive to you safe and sound.
