This fabulous "Kodak" "No. 4 Model D Panoram" camera is fitted with a "Ross, London 120mm Compound Homocentric 1:6.8, No. 95307" lens.It is constructed of leather covered wood, I can't find any major splits or damage to the wood or leather, however, it does have the usual light scuffs and marks you would expect from a well used item of this age, but, the grained leather has retained a good depth of colour.The nickel plated fittings have retained much of their original finish.The hinge...d door opens to show the lens which is attached to soft leather bellows, this moves in a 180 degree arc, unfortunately, the mechanism is stiff to release, but it does move well from side to side.The serial number is "18174" to the fold down front.The make and model details are impressed in to the folding front and back.The impressed writing is clear and vivid to the removable section.The leather handle is well attached and releases as it should to allow the side panel to open.The camera has its' original leather case, the stitching, for the most part, is in good order, there is some detached stitching to one side at the back and the front of the lid.The handle is solidly attached.The catch has "Kodak" impressed in to it and works well.
