Early 1900s LARGE 7 - 1/2 " ASHCROFT Vintage Brass Pressure Gauge Antique STEAMPUNK
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:48637803 |
Solid brass trim ring threaded onto a solid brass body. Trim ring spins on/off with ease. The inside of this gauge was just as nice and as the exterior~!
A crescent style indicator needle moves smoothly and site atop a solid brass face plate. The thick brass face plate has lettering, logo and numerals all stamped into the brass..... nothing painted on or plas...tic~!
Has a "toning" like patina on face plate. It could be easily removed and a high shine/polish given to it, but I thought the patina contrasted nicely with the polished copper colored trim ring.
NOTE: If you'd like the face plate polished and sealed to maintain the polished shine for years, give me one additional day to ship and I will do that for you at NO CHARGE~!
Beautiful mix of vintage materials went into making this gauge. Included is a period correct brass valve, common to gauges of this size, that allows the valve to be secured in a limited space such as against a wall. You would first secure the the two sections of the valve, the top to the gauge, the bottom section of valve to your project or plumbing, then the gauge can be sat atop the valve and secured without having to spin the entire 7.5" gauge~!
Clean clear glass lens. Good threads on down-tube. 7-1/2" In diameter and almost 2-1/2" thick~!
I always ship same or next day from receipt of payment and almost always ship PRIORITY MAIL. And I always combine shipping when possible.... just ask for a combined shipping invoice.
MANY OTHER ITEMS LISTED~!
