Siloames Martin, Aaron Reed & William Cole Selectmen of The Town of Rehoboth That One Thomas Medbury an Inhabitant Near 91 Years Old Who Has Become Very Poor & Indignant and Hath Not where With All To Support Himself and That The sd Thomas Hath... 2 Sons Namely John & Ebenezer who we Judge are of Ability agreeable To The law of The State To Support There FARTHER and We Have Requested of The sd John and Ebenezer to Do It But They Refuse To Do it these are To Therefore To Pray your Honors To Cite The sd John & Ebenezer To Appear At the Next September Term To Show reason if any They have Why they Should Not Maintain sd Father and If Nothing Appears to exclude them Pray Your Honors to Order a Maintenance For Their Father out of The Estate of John & Ebenezer or other Act in The affair as is in your Great Wisdom shall See and Your petitioners as in Duty Bound Shall Ever Pray Rehoboth June 19th 1774 The 3 Selectmen of Rehoboth all Sign.
