We command you To Attach The Goods or Estate of John Cleveland of Freetown in The County of Bristol Husbandman the Value of 12 Pounds and for Want To Take The Body of The John Cleveland to answer to Preserved Brayton of Swanzey in The County aforesaid Yeoman IN A PLEA OF YE CASE That He Pay To the Plain...tiff 6 Pounds & 12 Shillings That Whereas the John Cleveland By His Promissory Note in Writing in His Hand Dated 3rd Day of November 1729 Promised To Pay unto Ye Preserved Brayton Ye sd Sum Before The 1st Day of March Next After The Date of the Note as By Promissory Note in Court To Be Provided Shall Appear for Nonpayment Whereof . On Verso James Williams Deputy Sheriff Signs and States June 27th 1730 By Virtue of This Writ to me Directed I Attached The Household Goods of The Within Named John Cleveland Being all of The Estate I Could Find Within my precinct and Left A Summons at His place of Abode as said Directs Me, Mason Attorney signs for Defendant .6 1/4 X 7 1/2" $1.00 for 1st Class Mail.
