My uncle had a darkroom in his house from the mid 1960s until the early 1980s. After that, hoarding took over the room was turned into storage. He routinely bought excessive photography and darkroom equipment and stored it in this room unopened. Now we're cleaning out the house and selling off the material, equipment and film.This camera is part of a continuing expanding collection that we find as we clean up this house. According to internet research, this is a very early and ver...y rare US model Praktica, similar to the FX model. Apparently it’s from one of the earliest production runs. It’s believed that the importeur added a DIN flash contact.The lens is a Biotar f2/58mm.We conduct a basic test with shutter speeds, focusing, etc (as opposed to a film test).
