Here is a vintage cloth Coal Miners Hat in amazing condition. It was made by T.R. Jones & Co, Wilkes Barre, PA. It has a patent date of April 15, 1924. It is small, size is 6 5/8. maybe a child's cap, since I do know that at that time children were definitely used in the coal mines.
It has a Justrite Carbine Lamp, which is missing the bottom well, but those are available as replacements.
This is a local estate find here in the Endless Mountains r...egion of Northeast Pa and has not been offered on the market before.
