DESCRIPTION: This auction is for an antique Wright & Ditson tennis racket. The racket is solid. No cracks or breaks. I am not certain the strings are original, but if replaced certainly looks original to me - tight and none broken. Some wear to the wood along the top. Stickers intact on both sides. Leather butt cover also intact and stamp on the bottom remains and it is readable. Lines in the handle show little use. One side of the handle shows patent dated Jan. 3. 05 and number ...14. Opposite side of the handle stamped Wright & Ditson Makers, Boston, Mass. U.S.A. and the number 2. Please look at all photos as they offer a very nice visual description of condition.
