One side with a scene of a small dwelling in a landscape with ornamental rocks and blossoming trees. It appears there is a red curtain in the window of the house. The other side of the bottle has a scene of the interior of the room with the red cloth in the window: a nude young lady draped with a pink cloth, reclining on a bed. Notice that the lady extends one tiny, pointed foot clad in red-tipped bed shoe, the much-eroticized lotus shape achieved by the practice of foot binding. The r...ed color may suggest she is a bride awaiting her husband. Calligraphy inscriptions and red seal signatures are found on each of the two side panels. Between the panels, a cobalt blue ground with decoration in raised white dots. Hand painted mark in red enamel to base. Small chip to foot rim. No top. Approx. 2 1/2” H.
