1940 Franklin D Roosevelt FDR Tiny 1/2" BLUE Pinback Button Pin NEAR MINT!There is a glare on this photo in the upper left hand corner of the pin. This 1/2" Blue and White FDR button is from his 1940 campaign. This pin is in NEAR MINT condition! This is the smallest FDR campaign button every produced. Geraghty Company out of Chicago produced this button. Their logo on the back of the pin is super clear on a bright, shiny background. It's in fantastic shape for it's age. Sto...red in a smoke-free and humidity-free environment. Roosevelt directed the federal government during most of the Great Depression, implementing his New Deal domestic agenda in response to the worst economic crisis in U.S. history. As a dominant leader of his party, he built the New Deal Coalition, which realigned American politics into the Fifth Party System and defined American Liberalism throughout the middle third of the 20th century. His third and fourth terms were dominated by World War II, which ended shortly after he died in office. He has been subject to substantial criticism.
