Original Description:
Very fat early salt glazed stoneware maker marked bottle. It is marked on the upper body S. WILSON in large letters. He was a bottler in Ellenville, New York in the mid 19th century. This stoneware bottle is much wider then the average stoneware beer or mineral water of the time period. It has a nice grey glaze with some brown splotches in a section. It shows some use wear and a base edge chip. It stands 8" tall & is 3 3/4" in diameter. It is a cool early stoneware bottle. The pict...ures are accurate as to its condition.
