The German toy maker Jean Schoenner began production in Nuremberg in 1875. Twenty years later his company had 250 employees making mainly optical toys and magic lanterns. No toys produced after 1906 are known. By 1904 most parts of the firm's tooling machinery had been taken over by Johann Falk. All traces of the firm had disappeared by 1913.
We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made. The overall condition is accurately depicted in the photos. The projector shows vintage wear. The lamp has the wick. It has not been tested. This projector is being sold as-is, for display, for parts, or for restoration. This will make a great addition to any home or collection.
