This is an antique Art Nouveau silver tape measure. The top depicts Cupid kissing Venus (or Psyche) after a painting by William-Adolphe (1825-1905). The underside depicts flowers. It is 1 1/2 inches diameter and it weighs 0.744 ozt. The actual tape is not coming through the slot in the side, but the spring is inside the case and the button does push.
