Title:Old Hunting KnifeDescription:Presented for your consideration is this old hunting knife. This is a PAL RH-51 model knife made by Remington. It has a 4" long steel blade with a stacked leather handle and metal end cap. Where the blade meets the guard it is marked with "PH-51 PAL" Made in U.S.A." is marked on one side. Opposite side is void of any markings. The knife stores inside of a leather sheath that appears to have been custom made. There is an ornate floral design down the m...iddle with a banner through the center of the design. Inside of this banner there appears to be a name but it is hard to make out. Possibly "William." Knife dates to the 1940s-50s. This neat hunting knife would make a nice addition to any edged weapon or hunting memorabilia collection!
The end cap on the handle is slightly loose. There are some small indentations and some separation is beginning to occur on the handle. Blade shows some light to mild wear. Sheath has dried out and is stiff with age. Overall in GOOD condition. Sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 7 1/2" long, 1" wide at the guard and 3/4" wide at the widest point of the blade.
