This ram has had one foot carefully glued back on that was broken by airline inspections bringing it home. Also the joints where the legs were attached have separated from the body with age. These tiny cracks are visible upon inspection. Please see the photos detail and zoom in to make sure you will be happy with the condition.
I purchased this wonderful ram in Oaxaca, Mexico ...in 2003. It is signed by the artist Gloria Morales. This ram is a rich beautiful red with amazing curved and textured blue horns. It is a nice medium-sized piece - perfect to display anywhere. I really appreciated this striking piece in my collection.

I am selling my personal alebrije collection. I purchased my pieces in Oaxaca, Mexico in 2003 - many were purchased from the artists at their home studios. Alebrijes are vividly colored animals are usually carved from one piece of Copal wood that only grows in Mexico and then painstakingly painted with great detail using acrylic paints.
