Mid-century, "THE APOLLO", Rotating Celestial Globe. Made by Repogle, copywrite 1971.
The globe rotates and swivels and is in very good cosmetic condition overall. Has very minor seam separation most visible near the top and bottom poles of the globe. (Please see closeup images.)
Measurements are approximately 16" tall x 12" across with a 10" diameter globe. Shows star magnitudes, constellations, nebulae and nova and allows you to accurately track the seasonal night s...ky using its date indicators, marked in ten day increments.It has a clean, matte silver color base that is 7 3/4" in diameter. Will be shipped with the base removed and wrapped separately for safer transport.
