This Victorian adjustable and folding book rack/stand i think dates from between 1880 and 1900 , the stand is made of oak that has nice grain and colour with ornate metal adornments on the arched shaped ends as seen in the photos , the ends fold down and also pull out to suit , the stand is nice heavy quality and in pretty good condition for its age , there are a couple of small knocks to the corners and some tarnish to the metal decoration otherwise general minor wear and tear with ag...e and use, measures 14.25 x 6.75 x 7.25 inches when closed
