Very finely glazed Copper-Red vase with beautiful splashes or purple. Very well-potted and attractive form. A more unusual bulbous form for flambe exambles. The coloration, suffusion of bubbles, and lighter weight of this vase are also common with late 18th century examples. Typical iron oxide where the glaze ends on both the inside and outside edge of the foot rim. Sporadic crackle throughout underneath the glaze. Good size and excellent condition.
