...RED Hand Drill Boy Scout Carpenter Proficiency Award Badge brown back Troop Large ($1 Opening Bid & NO hidden reserve) (PS291B-A) DESCRIPTION: Carpenter, red Manual Hand Drill, relatively hard to find proficiency badge in any style variation never mind the ribbon, bound brown back version produced in the 1930’s (it is thought that this skill was introduced into the Scout program circa 1910) -the extremely challenging skills or test requirements that varied over the years which may partially explain the relative rarity of this badge, Style Variation: brown back, ribbon, bound (brown back style variation is thought to have been introduced 1935 and used throughout the late 1930’s and into the 1940’s) Size: 1 1/2 inches or 38 mm in diameter, I have noticed that these badges may have come in more than one size, this badge is the larger such version at 38 mm CONDITION: New Like (the colour and images on this badge remain very strong and vibrant, see images for greater detail) OPENING BID*: $1 VALUE*: $25+ Estimated SHIPPING**: $3 Do you have a passion for Boy Scout collectibles?
