This is a pre-owned piece of Reno, Nevada gaming history. It is a framed portion of belly glass from a vintage (1977) slot machine showing the MGM Grand lion walking in profile. The lion is bordered on all four sides by alternating circles containing a lion head and an MGM logo. The colors are red and yellow. The glass is approximately 8"H x 15"W x 3/16" thick.
The glass is mounted on paper-faced foam board for display in the frame. However one can see the words in red ink on ...the back of the glass, "Part No. G -350-386 Bally. MFG. CORP. 11-1-77 Serial No."
The framed piece is 8.25"H x 15.5"W x 1" deep. The frame is metal and is painted yellow to match the glass panel.The piece was photographed outside of its frame to show detail but will be replaced in the frame prior to shipping.
