Early 19th C Federal Two Part Split Baluster Mirror Reverse Painted on Glass
Here is a great gilt and ebonized split baluster Federal mirror with its original reverse painted tablet showing a lovely boy with kite. The frame, tablet, mirror and back are all original. The frame measures approximately 21 inches tall by 11.25 inches wide.
Condition: Mirror is in very good condition, especially for its age. The reverse painted mirror has some paint loss/cracking as pic...tured. Frame has some minor speckling of white paint at top and some chipping to gesso. Mirror has a few spots of darkening at edges.Gorgeous estate piece.Always happy to combine shipping, please take a look at my other listings :)
