Here is an amazing minty 1956 Alexander-kins doll in her original box. This is “Wendy Goes Calling With Mother” #586. This doll can be seen on page 75 of Patricia Smith’s “The World of Alexander-kins”. She is complete and all original, never played with. She comes in her correctly marked box with the neck brace and paperwork. This doll has a beautiful triple stitch red wig and her hair is in the original set with the original blue ribbons. Her coloring is even more vibrant in... person and it is all original with no retouches. She has original stringing and she walks well. Her body is free of any stains or cracks and she has a lovely even skin tone. Her dress is in perfect condition and is a lovely white/ivory color. There are no stains, tears, holes or odors to the dress. The matching bloomers are great condition and they stay up nicely but the elastic has loosened some with age. She wears a lovely white hat trimmed in lace that is in excellent condition. The gold elastic cord still retains some stretch and fits nicely on her head. Her outfit is completed with white fuzzy bottom shoes and socks both of which are in very good condition. The box is in good shape and is correctly marked for this doll and outfit.
