ITEM - Offered in AUCTION as BUY NOW Set of 6 Georg Jensen sterling silver lobster forks with the Acorn pattern ACORN DESIGN:Georg Jensen introduced the Acorn pattern in collaboration with designer Johan Rohde in 1915. Since then, it has become one of Jensen’s most desirable patterns. DESCRIPTION : Hallmark consists of 3 marks. The first is (G.I.-830-S) This indicates the forks were made between 1915-1930. The second mark is that of a castle. Under the castle the numbers on the forks range from 27-29. The third mark is that of the maker. It has an H with a C in the upper cross bar and an F under the lower. CONDITION : Set is pre owned has normal wear and surface scratches from usage and age. 5 of the forks have no cracks, dents, creases, bends, breaks or repairs Sixth fork I feel was repaired. Most noticeable is the shape of the V. A photo is included to show the bevel on V of this as compare this to the other fork in the photo. Also as the handle tapers to the tip, there is a wave. DIMENSIONS - Approximate : 7.5” long Weight of the 6 forks varies between slightly under 34 grams to almost 36 grams The fork which I feel was repaired is NOT the lightest.

BUYER REQUIREMENTS : I reserve the right to cancel sales to Bidders that do not have, in the past 12 months: a feedback percentage over 99% and/or positive feedback from at least ten different Sellers.

If a NYS Buyer with a Resale Certificate does not email the state form or a copy of their certificate, eBay requires they must pay for their item/shipping and the NYS tax. Once I receive a copy of the Buyer's NYS Certificate or the NYS form, I will refund you the tax paid. (Photos of your certificate or the state form forwarded through eBay messages are of a low resolution and may have to be enlarged or sent to my personal email address.)

PayPal is accepted. All items must be shipped to the address confirmed on your PayPal account. PayPal eChecks must clear before shipping. PayPal contacts me when eChecks have cleared. Payment is to be completed within 72 hours of the close of the auction. If it is not, I reserve the right to cancel the sale.
POSTAGE: Paid by the Buyer. I try to ship items as safely and inexpensively as possible. Postage labels are printed on line through eBay, discounted postage rates are passed along to Buyers. Before bidding, I am also willing to discuss using other shipping services. On large items, if arrangements are made prior to the conclusion of the auction, pick up may be a possibility.
POSTAGE REFUNDS : If there is a postage overcharge (of over a dollar difference between the guesstimated Shipping/Handling cost and actual shipping cost, ) the Buyer will be receive a refund as explained above. Handling Charge is described in detail below.. When listing auction items, I have guesstimated the Shipping and Handling cost. (As per eBay Policy, Insurance may be included in the Handling fee.) Insurance is mandatory on items which, in my discretion, are delicate/breakable or of high value. Upon an auction ending, the Buyer receives an End of Auction/Transaction notice from eBay. At this time, the Buyer may pay or contact me for the exact Shipping/Handling cost. If the Buyer requests additional USPS services aside from what I have offered, they will be responsible to pay these costs. Once an item is paid for, I package it. HANDLING CHARGE/ INSURANCE There is a Handling Charge on all items. If you feel this would prevent you from giving me 5 DSR stars (Detailed Seller Ratings) in FEEDBACK, please do not bid. The Handling Charge is a minimum of $2.50. On large items, the Handling Charge will be more. (First Class items have a handling charge of a dollar.) The Handling Charge is to cover any or all of the following:(Packaging Materials-bubble wrap, tape, peanuts, box, tube, Styrofoam sheet insulation, etc.) and My Time (packing, shipping and driving to the shipping location.), Insurance. and eBay Surcharge to Sellers on postage.
SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGE : If you would like you order shipped to an address other than the one eBay has on file either update your eBay Account-Information with the address you would like your purchase sent to or as you are making your PayPal payment, add the address your order is to be shipped to.
SHIPPING : (All Domestic items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation and/or Insured.) Most items weighing over thirteen ounces are shipped via USPS- Priority Mail. I also offer the option of Parcel Select. I will ship First Class Mail when a parcel weighs within the USPS weight guidelines. Media Mail will be used for books, tapes, cd's and videos. Items will be shipped within accordance to eBay terms in my listing. When your item has been shipped, you will receive an email from eBay notifying you of this. If for some reason there is a delay in shipping, I will contact you.
RETURN/ ADJUSTMENT POLICY: All correspondence, as is described below, is to be through eBay Messages.If the item is not as described in the listing and/or as shown in the photos: The Buyer is to contact me and provide me with clear concise photos of the problem within 14 days from receipt of the item. (The shipper's tracking delivery date is the date of receipt. ) If the Buyer's complaint is justified, I will accept the item back and refund the cost of the item/postage and the return postage. If we are unable to agree, I will ask eBay to intercede. It must be shipped within 3 business days of me approving return. (The Buyer is to ship the item back with the same coverage it had when it was sent unless I state otherwise in an eBay message. The Buyer will be issued a complete refund for the Cost of the Item, all Shipping Costs (including the fee to return the item to me) and Handling charges. The refund will be issued in the same form the item was paid for - PayPal with PayPal, etc.
INSURANCE CLAIM: I will file the claim. The Buyer is Not to ship the item back unless directed so by the Seller.If an item is damaged in shipping, the Buyer must keep the box, all packaging material and item. Throw nothing out. Your local USPS branch may ask to examine the item and packing materials. If the Buyer has disposed of them or does not bring the item to their post office, USPS will not honor the insurance claim. If that is the reason the claim is denied, you will not receive a refund.Through eBay, send me a description of the damage and photographs.To avoid your local Post Office requesting you come in with the damaged item, box and packaging, I may request additional photos. If that is the case, I would give you a description as to what I would need shown in the photo(s). Once I have USPS final decision on the claim, the Buyer will be reimbursed the original cost of the item and shipping through PayPal. The reason you will not be reimbursed sooner is, I need the Buyer's complete co-operation until USPS has made a decision. The Buyer may need to bring the item and packing materials to their local Post Office so my insurance claim is upheld and that I am reimbursed for the item being damaged in transit.
