Fritz Moll is even listed on the German "Volksbund" website with the following entries: Fritz Moll, 1st Private, born in Bant on 4. october 1902, died in prisoner of war camp No 7153 Nizhniy Tagil/Urals, still buried in Nizhni...y Tagil
You will receive the following two documents:

1. Field postcard, written by Fritz Moll. On the "Propaganda" Postcard is a "camouflage" postmark of 5. july 1942 as well as the unit stamp print. Fritz Moll wrote the following lines:
In the East, June 28, 1942
Dear Mum!
I received your dear lines from the letter number 69 yesterday. Thank you very much. Unfortunately I have no time to write a detailed letter at the moment, so you have to be content with this card. Things are still going better, but the yearning for home is growing. Unfortunately, there is no hope of seeing you again soon, but I hope that it will work out this year. Until then keep your head up, stay healthy and receive the best sundays greetings from your Fritz. Exact answer to your letter number 69 will be in the next few days, as soon as my time permits! Good night and best regards to everyone at home!!
2. Condolence letter by a Captain with following content:
Captain Scheu, company commander, field post number L 28983 (Air Force Construction Battalion 133 / XI in Romania), LGPA Vienna
O. U 9. October 1944
Dear Ms Moll!
As company commander of your husband, today I have the heavy duty to inform you that your dear husband has fallen into Romanian captivity on August 25, 44. While the larger part of the company still remained in the positions at the then location with me, after the betrayal of Romania, your husband was sent back on the 24th with the Corp and a command, to expect the company there. On 25.8., this command was surrounded, disarmed and captured by the Romanians. Comrades who managed to escape reported that your  spouse and all comrades were in good condition and well treated.
While his membership of the company, your husband had always been a very willing, zealous and useful soldier and comrade, so that we are all now missing him. I can imagine how much you will be oppressed by my message today. Nevertheless, I ask you not to lose courage and to hope with us constantly that our comrade Moll will come home shortly after hopefully soon successfully ended war.
Since I only found out your address today, unfortunately I could not make this notification earlier. I wish you and your dear family with all comrades for the future all the best, above all, the earliest return of our comrade and greet you sincerely, Heil Hitler. Your Otto Scheu
Please note: This Captain, Otto Scheu did also die in a POW camp. Captain Scheu was born in Berlin on 5. june 1901 and died (killed) on 4. september 1946 in the POW camp Jaworzno/Poland
