Up for auction is a handsome US Navy US Pacific Fleet Commander in Chief Cast Brass Command Plaque mounted on a solid Mahogany Board shield. This probably hung on the wall of one of the former Pacific Fleet Commander in Chiefs. I found this at an antique mall in Lincoln City, OR. It weighs 4.11 lbs. The board shield is 10 7/8" tall, 9 1/2" wide and 7/8" thick and has a backside wire hanger. The round cast brass plaque has a 5 7/8" diameter and is 1/2" thick at the outer ...rim. Embossed on the upper inner ring are four stars. In the center is an embossed anchor. In back of the anchor is a map of the Pacific Ocean.
